Sharing of Applications with OpenGL/DirectX - Blender - CAD/CAM

Certain CAD/CAE/CAM software utilizes the DirectX subsystem to display data. Dimdim currently cannot support applications which use DirectX / OpenGL (for e.g. In linux) due to the way graphical subsystem bindings are done. If there is a possibility of a non-DirectX version of CAD/CAE/CAM or non-DirectX way of running your existing software, Dimdim should work.

If you have any options in your software which allow you to disable use of DirectX rendering, it would help.
