One of the features that Dimdim offers is sharing computer screen of the host/Presenter with the participants of the meeting.

Note: Providing remote access to Hosts/Presenter’s desktop is not available yet with Dimdim.

To share the computer screen:

1. Login to your Dimdim account.

2.  Click Preferences.

3. Ensure that the Computer screen is enabled in the Features tab.



4. After the parameters are set, start the meeting.

5. In the meeting room, to share the screen, click Computer Screen

 The Host/Presenter will be able to see the Computer Screen under the Show items.

6. In the Confirm Computer Screen Sharing dialog box that appears, select OK.

The screencaster process starts.

You need to install the screencaster plug-in (One time installation) if you are sharing your desktop for the first time. You will be able to share the screen once the screencaster is installed.

7.  The screencaster icon is displayed in the system tray with Screenshare is in progress status. The participants will be able to see the hosts/presenter’s screen.
