What is the amount of Bandwidth consumed during desktop sharing?

The bandwidth usage during the desktop sharing depends on the actual application being shared and the network settings in the meeting:-

For usage involving editing of word documents, excel sheets or co-browsing on text oriented websites (such as digg.com) - the bandwidth utilization is below 50 kbps.

For usage involving heavier images - either demonstrations of software or websites such as cnn.com or espn.com, the bandwidth can go upto 100 kbps on Low and upto 250 kbps on High or Medium Network profiles.

The bandwidth utilization is adaptive in nature. Dimdim will try to use more bandwidth if it is able to use more bandwidth by sending more data. On LAN conditions - bandwidth utilization goes upto 1 MBps.
