I want to show my desktop to the attendees

Dimdim allows the presenter on Windows and Mac to show their desktop to the attendees.

Install the plugin

1.The first time the presenter starts the meeting, she will be
prompted to download and install the Dimdim Screencaster
   Plugin.

2.More details about the Dimdim Plugin are available here
http://help.dimdim.com/activekb/questions/63/

3.A Windows Mirror Driver is also installed on the Windows
Machine. The user needs to have Administrative access in order
   to install the Mirror Driver.

Showing the Desktop

1.After the meeting is started, the Presenter will see the Meeting
   Console.

2.The presenter needs to click on "Computer Screen" to start
   sharing his desktop.

3.The attendee will see the Presenter's desktop within the "Collaboration Space".

4.The status can be seen from the Dimdim Tray Icon - it is coloured when desktop sharing is in progress. It is grey in color when the Desktop is not being shared.

Options with Desktop Share

1.The presenter can share desktop in "Low", "Medium" and "High" settings.

2.The settings can be acessed by right-click on the Dimdim Publisher Icon in the System Tray

3.Low is suitable for Slower networks such as Dial-up or shared networks, Medium for Broadband networks, and High for Faster networks.

Possible Problems

1.The presenter needs to have 32-bit color set on their machine.
Currently it is not possible to share desktop if the color quality
  is set to 16-bit.

2.Dimdim supports dual monitors in desktop share. However the
Primary monitor needs to be setup with the primary monitor as
the left-most monitor. Please take a look at the Knowledgebase
  article http://help.dimdim.com/activekb/questions/92/ for more
  information.
