Dimdim Web Meeting allows the presenter to show their video using a webcam.
Reason
The attendees may not be able to view the presenter's video due to the following reasons:-
- The presenter has not clicked on "Allow" for the "Flash Camera and Microphone Permissions"
- The correct Camera is not set as default or was not correctly detected.
- Some other Program may have accessed the webcam with exclusive access.
Please follow the steps as described below to show video
1. Ensure the Portal Meeting Options shows "Audio-Video" enabled.
2. After meeting start, a Video Broadcaster window will pop-up in the
middle of the console. Please click on the allow button for the Video Broadcaster to gain access to the Webcam.

3. The video Braodcaster will move to the left lower corner of the meeting screen.
4. Please right click on the Video Broadcaster to bring up the Flash Settings Dialog.

5. Please click on the Settings and then click on the fourth icon for camera.

6. This will show a drop down of all the available cameras. Please ensure the correct camera is selected.
7. Clicking on the blue camera icon will show the actual image captured by the camera.
In case the steps above are not working it is possible some other application has captured your webcam.
1. Please ensure that other video chat or video recording applications are not running at the same time.
2. In case the webcam was attached (or removed & re-attached) after the meeting has started, Dimdim & Flash will not be able to detect the webcam. It is necessary to restart the meeting in this case.
