I have a Dual monitor set up and I am facing problem in Desk top share

The desktop sharing feature of Dimdim supports dual monitors. Currently, support is available to share only the primary display of your setup.
In case you have received an error during Desktop Share, it is possible the Monitor setup is not supported by Dimdim.

Solution
There are some dual monitor setups, which are still unsupported without some minor modifications on the setup. Please read the following if you have faced this problem -
  1. In Windows, it is possible to re-arrange your dual monitor setups. This can be done through the Display properties dialog which can be accessed by right clicking on your desktop and clicking on the 'Properties' link. The 'Advanced' tab in this 'Properties' dialog is what you would be interested in.
  2.  If you have more than one monitor, you will see those monitors numbered in sequence in the 'Advanced' tab. These monitors are usually ordered as 1, 2. Please see the image below for details

  3. However, it is possible to 'drag' a monitor and place it anywhere within the black box. So in theory, you can have a setup as follows:-
  4. or
  5. Dimdim currently doesn't support dual monitor setups unless your primary display (i.e. the display numbered as '1') is the left most and the top most of your display setup.
  6. This means, a configuration of 2, 1 for example is not supported.
  7. Similarly the Top of the two monitors needs to be aligned, or Monitor 1 needs to be on top of Monitor2.
  8. A configuration such as this is not supported.

Solution
  1. Please change this configuration to put your primary display to the left most and top most of your setup in the 'Advanced' tab of the 'Properties' dialog to start sharing again.
