Hey folks,
since it seems pretty difficult to have Desktop sharing for all OSs, and sometimes this is not really needed, I was wondering if there are already some solutions to only share the window of a browser?
Surely, this needs work, and probably would only work in FF for now as a plugin - I don't know much about FF, plugins or how this could be implemented, but for me this seems to be a pretty interesting idead too. Would like to hear what people have to say about that?
The most important thing to me on that idea would be the OS-independence (almost, as i guess) due to the FF-framework, and - due to protocol standardization - this should end up in showing the FF-window in the webapp, thus only the presenter would need FF and the plugin..
As said, this only is a very vague idea from me, appeared when thinking about showing a web page to a friend - on a mac, where it was not possible until now..
Looking forward to comments, perhaps this ends up in the "missing features" pane at some point ;-)
cheers,
sigi.
PS: sorry if this is not completely the right place, but it definitely is worth discussing :)
