We see there is a verison 3.0 for linux and wondering when a newer version like the features for 4.0 are coming out as an open source.

I see there is 2 types of downloads for 3.0 ... applicance image and linux (which you have to install all the pre-req. software like openoffice). with the applicance image, does it come with all the pre-req. software and when upgrading dimdim, does it upgrade all the pre-req applications?

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in Dimdim.
The SF Appliance Image of Dimdim is pre-installed with all the pre-req software and needs configuration of the IP address etc only as specified in the readme.

Uday

Hi,

We recently decided to jump directly to 4.5, as we've add some significant new features and we will release the latest source code and VM image. the estimated time frame for this is around 5 weeks.

Regards,
Dipankar
