Integration dimdim with java web application

I'm new dimdim's family. I'm very interesting when used dimdim free edition.

My application are a HRM web application. It write by java language,

I want to integration dimdim with my application. How do ?

Dimdim can be integrated with most of the web based application.
Using Dimdim APIs you can directly start and join from your website. Please check our Integration guide at the following location:

Actually i wants to integerate DimDim into Liferay (It is a portal Development technology visit www.liferay.com).
I installed Dimdim into my server(tomcat). I just copy the full dimdim folder from conferenceserver/webapps/dimdim into my webapps.
I can acess dimdim like this http://localhost:8080/dimdim.

Dipankar, this is correct way or i can follow any other way?.

I am using alpha version. but it's not supporting Linux Ubuntu OS.

But i accessed this from windows, But i got some bugs, Desktop sharing ,Audio chat and document sharing these all are not working.

Please help me ASAP.

Hello sibi,

Sorry for the late response.

Dimdim(alfa) consists mainly 4 component.

1. Dimdim web application: Main conference server
2. Dms or presentation manager: Responsible for sharing document
3. Reflector: Responsible for sharing desktop
4. Streaming server: Deals with live streaming data like AV,white Board.

So if you only deploy Dimdim webapps other features will not work.

By the end of this month we are going to release Dimdim 4.5 version with many new feature such Co-browsing.
Till then you can install latest Dimdim VM ware appliance. This pack can be installed on any OS and every thing is configured there. You can get the pack from this link:

We have already released the source code for alpha version.
