Will the whiteboard component be released with the open source version of DimDim?

Dear Floyd

Whiteboard component will be released with the open source binary distribution release. However we will not release the source code for whiteboard as we are contractually bound by the original developer not to release the source code.

what is the protocol for whiteboard and how it communicates to DimDim server for synchronization, in case original developer does not release the source code, one can develop our own version.
